⭐ Watch this video to find out how to install or upgrade to Windows 11. How to install this operating system without a TPM module and Secure Boot option, and what to do if the installer says your computer doesn’t meet the minimal requirements. The first build of Windows 11 is already available to members of the Windows Insider program. However, most computers fail to meet the minimal requirements for this operating system as they lack the TPM (Trusted Platform Module) component. This module is used for data encryption, user authentication, hardware antivirus protection, and so on. Most likely, Windows 11 uses the TPM features to encrypt the computer’s hard disk and protect your data reliably against unauthorized access. If you’re thinking about installing Windows 11 on your computer, keep that in mind. When you try installing Windows 11 to a computer without TPM version 2.0, you’ll see this error message saying “This PC can’t run Windows 11.” But even if you get this error, don’t worry: I’m going to show you a workaround that disables the TPM and Secure Boot check.

Microsoft has set specific hardware requirements for installing Windows 11, and TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are among them. However, if your computer doesn't have TPM 2.0 or Secure Boot, there are some workarounds you can try to install or upgrade to Windows 11, but keep in mind that these methods are not officially supported:

   1. Use the registry editor to bypass TPM 2.0 requirement:

  • Press "Win + R" to open Run and type "regedit" and hit Enter.
  • Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup".
  • Right-click on an empty space and select "New" > "DWORD (32-bit) Value".
  • Name the new value as "AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU" and set it to 1.
  • Restart your computer and try to upgrade or install Windows 11.

Note: This workaround does not resolve the Secure Boot requirement.

   2. Create a virtual machine and install Windows 11 on it:

  • Download and install VirtualBox or VMWare.
  • Create a new virtual machine and allocate at least 4GB of RAM and 60GB or more of storage.
  • In the virtual machine settings, disable "Secure Boot" and add a virtual TPM chip.
  • Install Windows 11 to your virtual machine.

Note: Running Windows 11 on a virtual machine may compromise its performance and usability.

Windows 11 Clean Install

To perform a clean install of Windows 11, you'll need a Windows 11 ISO file, a USB drive, and a tool to make the USB drive bootable. Here are the steps:

  1. Download the Windows 11 ISO file from the Microsoft website.
  2. Use a tool, such as Rufus or the Windows USB/DVD Download Tool, to create a bootable USB drive.
  3. Insert the bootable USB drive into your computer, boot from it, and follow the prompts to install Windows 11.
  4. When prompted for the installation type, select "Custom".
  5. Choose the partition where you want to install Windows 11 and click "Next". Windows 11 will format the partition and install a fresh copy.
  6. Follow the prompts to complete the installation process, and enter your license key when prompted.
  7. Once the installation is complete, you should be able to use Windows 11 on your computer without the TPM and Secure Boot. However, keep in mind that this workaround may not provide the full Windows 11 experience and may compromise your computer's security.
